Lake Effect Snow

FIG 1	Colder air blowing across the warm waters of the Great Lakes gave Northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania their first taste of winter. The first flakes of the season fell across much of the region with some places in the northern portions of the snowbelt picking up 4-8". (FIG-1 Shows the 48hour Snowfall totals for the area.)
