Softball Size Hail in Akron

Strong thunderstorms developed across much of northern Ohio on June 8. Numerous warnings were issued. The most impressive storm struck Summit county and affected the Akron area. Softball Size Hail was reported just south of the city. In addition, funnel clouds and at least one tornado tuchdown were reported.
